Samuel Sebastian Holden Bramah
Born in England to British Parents that decided to flee from the UK when I was just three years old, I grew up in Sunny Spain, specifically in Ibiza, the Balearic Islands.
I am fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan, I was raised in the cultural melting pot which is Ibiza, so am multicultural, multitalented and extremely adaptable. My family life was all in English (Books, TV, Films and Language at home) though my formal education has all been completed in Spanish and Catalan.
I have been translating actively since I was 10 years old, as I would research all school, and later HighSchool, projects in an ancient Encyclopaedia Britannica, which was, of course, in English. I went on to work part time for a lawyer as a translator, and then for a local radio station, translating and re-writing local news for the weekly English program on FM radio.
Life has been interesting, challenging and varied, I have worked in such wildly different areas, just to name a few: jewellery manufacture and retail, nursing, language school management & education, tourism, the food and beverage industry, website content management, public relations, and quite a long et cetera.
If you want to place yourself in the huge international market made up of Latin America and Spain, why not get in touch. I'll be happy to provide a No Strings Attached quote for all your translation, interpreting and localization needs.
